Your Frequently Asked Questions
All in all, it seems microblading is more uncomfortable than painful, although this will of course depend on your pain threshold. But, with numbing cream applied, you'll probably be able to deal with it — just remember not to get freaked out by the noise!
This session will take approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete.
This varies among people and is dependent on the specific shade used. Most colors last three to five years, although some may not fade for as long as 10 years. Periodic touchups are recommended to maintain the desired look. You can also choose to change colors of your permanent makeup.
Eyelash extension
Depending on the expertise and experience of the Lash Stylist and the number of lashes being applied, it generally takes between 120 to 150 minutes to apply a full set of Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions. Touch-ups can be done in as little as 45 to 60 minutes.
Each extension should last for the remaining lifespan of the natural eyelash. As your natural lashes grow and shed, the extensions will grow and shed with them. Most clients experience enough shedding within 3 weeks to be in need of a touchup. Some clients need, or want, to come every 2 weeks. These clients either have a somewhat faster growth cycle, are a little rougher on their lashes, or just prefer to have their lashes at maximum fullness as much as possible.
How full your lashes will look at the end of your touchup appointment will be greatly affected by how many lashes you have when you arrive for your appointment- ideally you should have 50% of your extensions still on at touchup time. Please keep this in mind when determining how long to wait to schedule your touchups. Also arriving on time for your appointments will ensure you will receive the maximum amount of eyelashes. We require at least 25% of your extensions to be remaining at the time of your service to qualify for a touchup service. Waiting more than 5 weeks between appointments will require another full set appointment.
